What is the AIM4: Next Step Study?

Investigating two treatment regimens that may help reduce asthma flare-up

The AIM4: Next Step Study is a year-long study that will compare the safety and effectiveness of two treatment regimens for patients with uncontrolled asthma.

During the study, participants will:

  • Either take the injected study medication as well as use a prescribed inhaler medication, OR take an increased dose of the inhaler medication alongside a placebo injection
  • Visit a nearby clinical study site regularly
  • Track any asthma symptoms or flare-ups

All study-related medications are at no cost to participants!

Participants must be willing to stop all other inhaled asthma medications and take only the study medications.
